San Antonio, TX, January 21, 2009 —Sol Schwartz & Associates, P.C. will be named this week as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Texas. The Best Companies to Work for in Texas 2009 list will appear in the February issue of TEXAS MONTHLY magazine, on newsstands January 22. This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the 100 best places of employment in Texas.
“Our firm encourages a work-life balance by offering remote access and flexible daily schedules to handle family matters,” said Jeff Albrecht, managing shareholder. “We also provide on-the-job-training to all staff that is specific to each individual’s experience level and career goals. During tax season, the staff enjoys many “treats” to let them know their extra efforts are recognized and appreciated.”
The awards program was created in 2006 and is a project of TEXAS MONTHLY, the Texas Association of Business (TAB), the Texas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (TSC-SHRM) and Best Companies Group.
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
